Hi Loves!
It's Friday good people! The look of the day is one that I came up with during a swatch fest I had a few weeks ago. What you'll see below is a gradient created with China Glaze's Grape Pop an SH Insta-Dri Presto Pink. Once the gradient achieved, I added one coat of China Glaze Fairy Dust.
I eventually decided to stamp a finger print pattern on all of my nails with SH Insta-Dri Silver Sweep.
Which look do YOU prefer?

All I want for my birthday is a fresh manicure! (2 Chainz voice)
Happy birthday to meeeeeeeeeee!
Yup, your girl just turned 28. Looks like there ain't no stoppin' this aging thing so I say BRING IT ON!
Getting old is okay I guess but I'd much rather talk about nails! If you follow me on Instagram (look me up: Vamica) then you saw a few pics of my new nails. After creating this set of UV gel nail enhancements over the weekend, I got together with Emmee from Click, Flash Buzz (check out her beautiful photography here) to take a few shots of my work. I'll be offering my services as a nail tech very soon and I'm trying to work on as many looks as possible. A photo shoot is the perfect way show my future clients what I can do.
Also I will be working with Emmee and setting up a few more shoots which is why I'm currently looking for hand models! So if you're in the MTL area, are not afraid to experiment and would like to get your nails done by me please email me at vamica.bony@hotmail.com
Please note that I do have a certain vision in mind for these shoots and so I might require that you send me a picture of your hands in order to help me make my selection.

Neutral nails feat OPI's Bronzed To Perfection
Hey Loves!
I truly hate Mondays but starting the week off with a new post sure does make that pill a little easier to swallow. If you follow me on Instagram (under my government name: Vamica) then you know that I am currently rocking some crazy ass stiletto nails that I built with tips and UV gel. I'll be blogging about those soon but in the mean time I want to show you pictures of a simple manicure I worked on a few weeks back.
I painted on two coats of OPI's Bronzed To Perfection on all my nails and then stamped a simple pattern on the ring finger using Essie's Good As Gold (my new go-to gold polish!) to create a subtle and classy look that is perfect for the fall.
Something about this golden brown shade is so warm and cozy. Makes me think of sweet potato pie filling. #FatKidAtHeart

Livin' On The Edge feat Hello Kitty & Color Club's Poptastic
Hi guys!
I don't know what the heck is going on but my nails are looking ratchet as all hell. Urgh. I somehow managed to get three rips on my swatching hand. So you know me, I didn't hesitate to chop off all my nails because I absolutely hate uneven claws but I gotta be honest here: I can't stand my short nails right now! *shakes fist at the sky for emphasis*
I'm thinking I'll have to suck it up and put on some UV gel enhancements. I swear, I look at my fingers and they look like Ninja Turtle hands. Lawd...
end of rant
Okay so while I figure out what to do with my nails I'm going to show you another HK manicure that I worked on last week. All I did was start with two coats of Color Club's Poptastic. I then added one coat of China Glaze's Fairy Dust on the ring finger, stamped a Hello Kitty head on there as an accent and then a barbed wire design on all the other nails. This was all done using Wet n Wild's Ebony Hates Chris.
There you have it: girly with an edge!

Simplicity in pink and black feat China Glaze Emotion
Hola my loves!
This manicure is a no brainer and so this post will be short. I just love pink and black together, it's probably my go-to color combo. Sometimes having too many options makes it difficult for me to decide what I'd like to wear on my nails so I found a pretty flower design, grabbed some pink and black polish and went to town.
What you see below is two coats of Wet 'n Wild's Ebony Hates Chris. Once that dried I stamped flowers on all my nails using China Glaze's Emotion (another great stamping polish).
Simple but undeniably beautiful.

Midnight Glitter ft Color Club Blue-Topia
Hi guys!
I first saw Color Club's Blue-Topia while reading one of my favorite nail blogs called Let Them Have Polish. I fell in love with that deep blue shade as soon as I laid eyes on it. Sadly I'm only now getting around to using it. In order to achieve today's manicure I painted on two thin coats of Blue-Topia and once that had dried I added one coat of Kleancolor's Blue-Eyed Girl.
This glitter is lovely. You do have to be a bit more careful when it comes to the placement of the glitter on your nails but nothing too dramatic. I left the ring finger bare and then stamped on an Asian sign using SH Insta-Dri in Silver Sweep.
I really like how this turned out :)

Hello Kity and Sparkles ft Essie's No More Film
Hey loves!
I have been working on new nails designs like crazy. My cuticles are begging for Jesus but I'm on a roll so I'm going with it! This nail design is one of many Hello Kitty-inspired manicures I came up with last week.
What you see here is two coats of Essie's No More Film to which I added one coat of China Glaze's Skyscaper but only on the tips of the nails. Finally, I printed little winged hearts and Hello Kitty images on all of my nails with Essie's Good As Gold.
Enjoy!

Love for nails ft China Glaze Lemon Fizz
Hola!
My last manicure might have been a dark vampy color but I can never stay away from my brights for too long! Today's look starts off with two coats of China Glaze's Lemon Fizz. I would have gone for a third coat had I wanted to wear this color by itself but I knew I wanted to add some embellishments and stamping is very forgiving so I stopped at two. I picked out a cute heart design and stamped it on all my fingers using SH Insta-Dri in Brisk Blue.
I love, love, loooooove this look. this color conbination is great.
So what do you think?

Dark nails for cool weather ft OPI Midnight In Moscow
Hey loves!
Can you guys believe that my laptop crashed? Well I'm hoping it can be brought back to life. I still have to take it to the Apple store,,,
Anyhoo! The weather is cooling down and though I'm not happy about the change in temperature I found myself wanting to wear some fall colors on my nails. What you see below is two coats of OPI's Midnight In Moscow over which I stamped a numbered design using Essie's Good As Gold (love this for stamping!)
What colors do you love wearing during the fall?
