Hi guys!
The first manicure of the week will be a simple one because sometimes less is actually more! My girl Audrey swung by Sunday to go over some paperwork and take a moment to pamper herself. With only 3 weeks to go before she gives birth to my godbaby's sister this chick definitely could use a little TLC!
After growing out her previous manicure (nails grow like weeds when you're preggo) Audrey opted for a creamy plum color called Rendez Vous. I actually hadn't gotten around to wearing that shade just yet but I must say that is looks better on the nail than it does in the bottle.
Classic.

Stamping with a holo feat Essie Go Overboard
Happy Tuesday guys,
I love stamping when my nails are short and this time I wanted to try stamping with a holographic polish. Though I had seen this done on many blogs, I had never given it a try for myself. Well now that I have I must say that I do like how this manicure turned out. What you see below is two coats of Essie's Go Overboard and the design was stamped on all of the fingers using Color Club's Harp On It. Fun!
Enjoy,

Catching up with Audrey feat Gel II Soak Off Polish La Shining
Hey loves,
Today I want to show a Gel II Soak Off Gel Polish color called La Shining that I used on my home girl Audrey whom I hadn't seen in a very long time. Luckily for me, we really click so it always feels like family to me when we get back together. Audrey came by with her hubs and my cutie pie of a goddaughter. She has the cutest chubby cheeks!
Audrey was wanting to try some gel polish so she chose Gel II La Shining, a beautiful pearly peach color. This gel polish is a little different from Gelish because it's a 2 step application (no base coat to apply). I really like how this turned out but then again, anything looks good when you have nice nails like Audrey's. This is subtle and very polished; it's also very work appropriate in my opinion.
I ended up speaking to Audrey again a little less than a week later who says that her nails are still looking great even after washing dishes everyday. Something tells me you'll be seeing more of Audrey's hands!
Have you tried Gel II?

Girafe print on CRACK! feat Gelish Coco Cabana Banana
Hola my loves!
I've been working on a project (still involving nails of course) so last week was a slow one at LLG but I want to make sure I get right back on track this week so I'm here with a quick post.
My regular customer Ms Double XL came back for her Gelish fix. This time we kept things simple but still fun. Sarah requested a funky girafe print so she chose Gelish Coco Cabana Banana as the base and I added the girafe print using SH Insta-Dri in Brisk Blue.
With nails like that you can't help but pay attention!

Going Tribal! feat Gelish Hot Rod Red
Happy Fridayyyyyyyyy!
Guys this week was heavy! I got some bad news Friday and everything started piling up from there. To make matters worst, I went to work yesterday to find out that a good portion of the staff was laid off. By God's grace I was one of the lucky ones who didn't get cut so I am grateful for that!
Enough with the depressing stuff already! Let's get happy with some polish! I absolutely LOVE the set I worked on. My boo and fellow blogger Ms Double XL came to me with a picture of a set created by nail art superstar Regina Rodriguez:
Sarah wanted a look inspired by that picture but using black, white, red and gold. The red is Gelish Hot Rod Red, the white is Gelish Sleek White and the black is Dark Shadows. The detailing was done using acrylic paint. I loooooooove this! I prefer this color combination because the red Sarah chose really pops! Click here to see what bangin' outfit Ms Double XL wore with those nails!
