Hey loves,
I'm still sick and not really feeling well enough to go through the whole nail painting/picture taking process right. With that said I still have some swatches to hold you guys over while I rest up this week. I'm hoping to be feeling better by the weekend so I can work on some nail art for you guys. I've got some fun ideas in mind...
The polish of the day is Nicole By OPI's Basking In Gloria. Felt like I hadn't worn or blogged about red nail polish in a while so this beauty satisfied my craving.

Color Club Alias
Hey loves!
This blog has been getting a whole lot more traffic these past few months so I gotta give a shout out and say thank you to all the readers old and new, you guys keep me motivated.
I hope I'll be able to keep things on track with the blog this week because I am feeling a little worn out. I worked a show over the weekend so I didn't get much sleep and I'm fighting a bad ass cold but have no fear your daily dose of polish is here!
This one is a simple swatch. Two coats of Color Club's Alias over one coat of Essie's Licorice. The color shifting qualities of this polish make me giddy. This polish doesn't need any nail art its a stunner all on its own.

China Glaze Bogie and some stamping!
Hi guys!
I've always wanted to be able to have photographed swatches of my collection. I'm starting slowly but surely. I hope to be able to get through at least half of my collection by the end of the year... We'll see how that works out...
Let's get to the swatch! The polish of the day is China Glaze's Bogie from the 2010 Vintage Vixen collection. The silvery shimmer gives a smokey look to this rich eggplant color. This actually looks much better on the nail than I had expected.
And because I just can't leave well enough alone I decided to break out Essie's Nothing Else Metals and Cheeky plate CH50 (summer collection) for some stamping fun. The print was a little abstract but I decided to give it a go anyway. Not to bad...
Enjoy!

Nicole by OPI Love Song
Hey loves!
Feels like all I've been wearing are shades from the Selena Gomez collection! And to think I used to be a NOPI snob (I just can't get with their bottles sorry).
I've been meaning to put together a striping tape manicure for a while now and I'm glad I finally got around to it because this one looks great! The base is Vincent Van Gold from the Revlon Expressionist art pen collection. I laid down some striping tape in a simple pattern on the index and pinky and added NOPI's Love Song on top.
Vincent Van Gold comes off as blue in my pictures (it just doesn't photograph well) but it's actually a purple duochrome that shifts to blue. Very pretty.

Nicole by OPI Hit The Lights
Hi guys!
I'm starting the week off with a manicure I did for the Sunday challenge over at Aventures In Stamping on Facebook. The theme was Spring colors and since Spring time makes me think of the sun I used Nicole By OPI's Hit The Lights for the base. I've been neglecting my glitters so I added a layer of NOPI's Inner Sparkle (that Selena Gomez collection is getting lots of love!) on the index and ring fingers.
The butterfly and flower that you see are actually nail decals that I made using some stamping plates. I love how this turned out and I can't wait to make more using different color combinations.

Random swatch
Hey loves,
Just a random swatch of this Revlon ColorStay polish in Bonzai. This is a lovely apple green with a very fine golden shimmer. It's very similar to Sinful Colors' Happy Ending but since I'm not a fan of Sinful Colors' formula I'd say that Bonzai has now become the perfect replacement!

My new favorite pink?
Hi guys!
I was trolling the isles at the drugstore and came across the new Nicole by OPI shades for 2013. I had seen swatches for Still Into Pink and I did like it but it was love once I actually put it on! This bright pink has the slightest bit of shimmer running through it. Wouldn't this shade be awesome for a pedicure? Gawd I love this.
I then decided to break out OPI's Lights Of Emerald City and add it on top just because I had been meaning to give this glitter a try. The consistency was not the best... very thick and goopy which made it difficult to get the glitter to go where it need to.
Besos!

White hot!
Hey loves!
Let's kick off the new week with some hot nails shall we? I did this manicure after seeing it online but I cannot remember where! If you're reading this and you can tell me who came up with this look, please comment below so I can give credit where credit is due.
I love this manicure because it's edgy and would look great with any color combination. I used Essie Blanc and Maybelline Color Show in Bold Gold and chose a nice print for the accent fingers (I think the original was done using a flower print). I settled on the flame design and it worked out great in my opinion. The thumb was left white just for fun.
Is this manicure hot or what?

Because drugstore polishes need love too!
Hey loves!
I find myself gravitating towards the same brands when it comes to nail polish so in an effort to shake things up I decided to break out some drugstore brand polishes I've been neglecting. The two shades I'll be showing you today are both from Revlon's Brilliant Strength collection. The first being Enthrall, a beautiful and shimmery olive color and the second Intrigue a shimmering cornflower blue.
These are the only shades I own from this collection but not for long! The formula on these was great and they dry pretty quickly too which is always a plus.

Nicki Minaj collection reloaded
Happy Monday guys!
I hope everyone got to enjoy the long weekend. I know I sure did. I tried to come up with and Easter manicure for you guys but I was just so uninspired... everything feels so done when it comes to themed manicures like that. So after a few failed attempts I decided I'd just give it another go next year.
Today I'll be revisiting some of the polishes from OPI's Nicki Minaj collection. I picked Did It On 'Em, Fly and Pink Friday for the base and then just went crazy with black, white and pink acrylic paint. I had no I idea what the end result would be when I first started but I must say I'm quite happy with it.
